Greetings!
I heard someone say recently that people with passion and dreams live 7 to 10 years longer! And that when we stand in our purpose and passion, the quality of our dreams will change. WOW! What are your dreams? Do your passion and dreams provoke you to action?
When we hear the word 'provoke' it's often similar to Webster's #1 definition: "To cause anger, resentment, or deep feeling in." However Webster goes on to say "To stir to action", and offers the synonyms: arouse, excite, galvanize, impel, incite, inspire, motivate, and stimulate.
So the question is: What provokes you? What stirs you to action?
Well, my purpose is to provoke thought to facilitate personal growth. I expressed that to a colleague recently and she said "Of course, you're a Provocateur." Ooh...I love that title! So as part of my purpose and passion, I've created a series of Infinite Self Playshops (Yes, Playshops. Workshops sounds too workish!) to explore the world beyond our 5 physical senses for fun and empowerment. The next two are on Reading Your Own Past Lives, and Connecting with Your Spirit Guides (see below for more info). We have many natural resources that are available to us; we just need to remember how to access them, as Eckhart Tolle concurs in his quote at left. I would be honored to assist you in your remembering.

You're More than Your Current Expression |

I've had an expanding number of clients over the last few year desire to explore their past lives, so I decided to include this as one of the upcoming Playshop topics. Recalling details about past lives is fun and interesting, but I believe the real power of that information is its current relevance - how it's impacting us today, either positively or negatively. We can choose to acknowledge and embrace the aspects we desire to retain, while gaining wisdom from those aspects we are ready to release the emotional charge around (such as fear). This integration can facilitate personal healing and spiritual growth.
A Repeated Message
I've learned to pay particular attention when a word or topic comes up in several different ways, considering it a message for action. I recently attended an event in Sacramento with Lee Carroll who channels a non-physical guide group called Kryon. I love what they're bringing to people's awareness, as it's informative as well as uplifting. One of the topics that they talked about is how you can access knowledge and wisdom from past lives and have it available to you today. Sound familiar? Then a few weeks later I was selecting a book to read and picked one at random (HA!) out of a pile of books. It was one I was not familiar with that had a somewhat obscure title "The Eye of the Centaur." So guess what it's about? Yup! Past lives! And it includes many similar concepts that I recently heard from Lee Carroll and Kryon! Interestingly this book by Barbara Hand Clow was first published in 1943. This is not new information.
Ancient Wisdom for Modern Times
Most of the world's religions have some version of reincarnation in their belief systems - from far Eastern to Native American. I've also read that some of the original gospels that were later excluded from the Bible included the concept of reincarnation. The record of past lives is often referred to as the Akashic Records - the storehouse of all thoughts, emotions, actions and experiences.
Opening the Jar
Here are some thought provoking concepts from Lee Carroll and Kryon: What we consider past lives, in our human linear thought processes, are different expressions of our soul. The Akashic Records are a spiritual record of humanity and include not only every life lived, but also every potential life to come - pure potential without past or future. What we think of as lifetimes are referred to as Expressions, and the common thread of these expressions is your Higher Self. Your Higher Self is there for every expression, and you can ask your Higher Self to access that knowledge. This means that the energy of your entire existence on earth is with you all the time, and we can mine this storehouse of knowledge and wisdom. It includes all your learning, accomplishments, unfinished business, talents, spiritual growth, etc. He posits that these records are like a jar of learning and that we can open the jar and allow this storehouse of learning to spill into our current life.
Practical and Accessible
Lee gave the example that he used to be terrified of public speaking. After learning how he could access skills and talents from other expressions, he accessed an expression as an orator and tapped into that skill. He now speaks to audiences of up to 5,000 people at a time without fear!

Enoch on Inspiration |
The following is a channeled message from my guide group who call themselves Enoch - a group of non-physical beings who use me as their conduit to anchor the energies of expansion and service. "Look to your breath to bring you inspiration. There is purpose and reason that your language has developed this word that means in breath as well as something that awakens your passions and purpose. Give yourselves the gift of a few minutes each day to breathe deeply and focus on what brings you joy. This is the best medicine for you as individuals and also as a global family.
In these times that to many feel chaotic, it is crucial that you remember what inspires you. It can be a grand plan or something very simple. Allow yourself to focus for a few minutes on your breath while you imagine drawing in inspiration through every pore of your body. Visualize that magnificent sunset, painting, or the face of someone who inspires you.
In times of seeming chaos it is even more important to remember your passions and what inspires you. This is a time of great change - and you can take a waiting posture and allow change to happen to you or you can - in remembering and following your inspiration and passions - be that change agent you came here at this time to be. Help create the change you desire.
Change is in the air, it is all around and in you, to be directed by you. Imagine you are creating a movie. You write the story! You are the director and you are the lead actor. This is your movie and it can be anything you choose. So allow your inspiration and passion to guide you in creating the unfolding of your unique story."
